Mansfield, OH – Amidst the bustling streets of Mansfield lies a haven of compassion and care, where the feline residents find solace and support. Stop the Overpopulation of Pets (S.T.O.P.), a distinguished non-profit organization stationed at 1152 Lexington Ave, stands as a beacon of hope for our furry friends in need.

With a heartfelt plea for support, S.T.O.P. is calling on the community to join their noble cause. Seeking both donations and dedicated volunteers, the organization aims to bolster its efforts in providing unparalleled care for the animals under their wing. Volunteers play a pivotal role in the daily operations, ensuring each cat receives the attention and affection they deserve. From cuddles to playtime, these interactions not only keep the cats happy and socialized but also increase their chances of finding loving forever homes.

Currently, S.T.O.P. is tending to a staggering 150+ cats, each with their own story of resilience and hope. Among their residents are cats nursing injuries, finding refuge and healing within the walls of the sanctuary. The organization’s commitment to inclusivity extends beyond sheltering; they offer low-cost spay and neuter services, alongside vital flea treatments and vaccinations, safeguarding the well-being of every furry companion that enters their care.

In a world often marred by challenges, S.T.O.P. stands as a testament to the power of compassion and community. Together, they pave the way for a brighter tomorrow, where every cat and kitten can thrive. As the organization continues its tireless efforts, they invite all to join them in their mission of compassion and care. After all, in the heartwarming world of S.T.O.P., every meow is met with a promise of a brighter future.

All the fur balls here are put up for adoption after they have received treatment and healed. There are a few exceptions. We have many who are ready to be placed in their forever home.

Please give S.T.O.P a call if you have any questions and or are ready to adopt, volunteer, and/or donate. (419) 774-1738
