In the early hours of this morning, Shelby Fire Department, with support from Shiloh Fire, engaged in a determined effort to extinguish a significant blaze at 84 1/2 E. Whitney Ave. in Shelby, Ohio. The home was fully engulfed in flame. Prompt action from the firefighting teams was instrumental in containing the fire. Fortunately, the sole resident of the property managed to evacuate safely, escaping unharmed from the engulfed premises.
Regrettably, despite the efforts of the fire personnel, the residential structure incurred irreparable damage and is now deemed a total loss. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
