A high-speed pursuit came racing through Richland County this morning. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved. The vehicle, a Chrysler 300, was reported running at speeds in excess of 100 mph, passing on the berm, and turning all lights off(going dark). The vehicle’s tires were spiked at or around the 178 mile marker and lost control at the 181.2 Mile marker veering off the side of the roadway and crashing a good distance off the road. The driver and a passenger were taken into custody. Injuries were reported and both were seen by paramedics and refused treatment. The passenger was eventually released from hand and appears to have been given a ride.
