Update: OH-430 is now open for traffic.
Madison Twp Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident on OH-430 between Reed Rd. And Koogle Rd. The vehicle left the road way, striking a power pole snapping it it off at the base. The vehicle continued on and struck a tree, bringing it to a halt. The driver was transported for treatment. Scanner traffic reported no serious injury.
Currently, there is a wore hanging low over oh-430. Oh-430 will be closed in this area while Ohio Edison replaces the pole and repairs the wires.
Ohio Highway State Patrol is on scene.
