Mansfield Police Department responded to an apartment complex on Sturges Ave. For a stabbing call. The victim was awake and alert when Mansfield Fire Dept. personnel was putting her in the ambulance to be transported for medical treatment. The suspect is in custody and on his way to spend the beginning of the New Year in jail.
