Fire services responded to a report of a porch on fire. Arriving at the scene on Alta West Rd. the fire spread up the exterior wall of the home. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and put out hot spots. The State Fire Marshall was requested to come to the scene. Mansfield Fire Dept, Madison Twp Fire Dept., Washington Twp Fire Dept. Springfield Twp Fire Dept., and Troy Twp Fire Departments all responded to the scene. There were no reports of injuries heard on scanner traffic.
